JOYBA Strawberry Lemonade Green Bubble Tea
A Disappointing Experience

1) Taste and Ingredients: The taste of the tea is decent. When drinking cold, it taste refreshing and goes down easily. Subtle hints of lemon with strawberries flavor. Unfortunately, the excessive amount of added sugar is concerning. While the main ingredient is brewed green tea, sugar contributes a staggering 56% of the recommended daily value, making the drink overly sweet. The only benefit I see is a mere 6% of calcium and most likely doesn't include any antioxidants you normally find in green tea.
2) Boba Bubbles: The boba bubbles, which should be made of tapioca, are disappointingly hollow and filled with air instead. Popping them in your mouth feels odd and adds no value to the overall drinking experience. The lightly flavored bubbles claim seems inaccurate, as the flavor is barely noticeable. I ended up avoiding them all together the next time I had one.
3) Packaging and Presentation: The packaging and presentation are well-designed. The instructions for removing the straw, extending it, and puncturing the lid are clear and straightforward, making it easy for first-time consumers. However, the straw itself is somewhat awkward and doesn't reach the bottom of the drink effectively.
4) Sustainability Concerns: The product leaves behind a significant amount of waste after consumption, including the plastic cup, film around the cup, lid cover, and plastic straw. This raises concerns about the environmental impact and sustainability of the product.
5) Overall, while the packaging and presentation are decent, the taste, boba quality, and sustainability issues detract from the overall experience of this bubble tea. Addressing these concerns could greatly improve the product. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.
